About This Role
BuyQuick is looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Marketer to grow our brand presence across all major platforms. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our social media accounts, running paid campaigns, analysing performance metrics, and building an active online community around our products and services.
As the voice of BuyQuick online, you will craft content that resonates with our audience of everyday Nigerians who use our platform for bill payments, marketplace transactions, and wallet services. You will collaborate closely with the product and design teams to ensure consistent messaging and drive user acquisition through organic and paid strategies.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands the Nigerian digital landscape, and can turn followers into active users.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience managing social media for a brand, business, or personal brand with measurable growth
- Demonstrable portfolio of social media content or links to accounts you have managed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for organic reach
- Ability to create short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar)
- Basic understanding of digital marketing funnels and conversion tracking
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, or any related field (or equivalent practical experience)
